CHON Announces 'ID-CHON', a Family-Based Decentralized Identity System

At the 'Fully Decentralized ID-CHON Presentation' held at the Textile Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 13th, Shin Geun-young, the representative of the village, unveiled 'ID-CHON (village),' a decentralized identity authentication system based on family, genealogy, and DNA.

CEO Shin emphasized, "This project is the last one in my life that I have been preparing for for six years, and it is an attempt to combine blockchain technology with Korea's traditional heritage of genealogy," and said, "We propose a new identity ecosystem that can prove identity through mutual authentication between individuals without a central authority."
